He helps with building confidence between rider and horse and can explain in easy terms proper positioning of the rider on the horse to achieve your goals.. I’ve known Derek a long time and have worked with him with several of my horses .. he is respectful and knowledgeable to work with at the level you are at.. personally he has taught me that to go fast in the sorting circle you must first learn how to stop and understand where your horses feet are for proper position on the move forward in the right direction .. he works with you at your comfort level while explaining the slight nuances in your body position relating to the movement of your horse, which relates to the position of the horse on the cattle. I appreciate his knowledge and intend on working with him again this season."
