Derek Partridge grew up riding horses.  At age 8, he won the Attica Rodeo Team Penning and has continued to be  a Ranch Sorting and Team Penning champion in both RSTPA and RSNC at a national level.  He is also formally trained as a graduate from the Alfred University Equestrian program - where he was in the upper tier in the nation for Reining.  He is also a competitor in Reined Cow Horse events.   After college, he interned at a reining horse facility and was partnered with many different horses and clients.  Ranch Sorting is the family sport and continues to be.
