Welcome to Diamond D Horses! Our family is made up of Sammy, Anna (our daughter) and Melissa Drinkard. My husband and I have been around horses since we were born and love to raise them. After graduating from Oklahoma State University, we were married on May 21, 2005. We are located in the Southeastern corner of Oklahoma in Hugo, Oklahoma. Hugo is 150 miles South of Tulsa, 200 miles Southeast of Oklahoma City, and 120 miles Northeast of Dallas, TX. We have been trying to improve our herd by purchasing really nice AQHA registered mares that we can afford. Currently we have around 20 head of really nice registered quarter horse brood mares that are being exposed to our stallion, Freckles Meradalena, for 2009 foals. Our bloodlines consist of Doc Bar, Colonel Freckles, Freckles Playboy, Doc O Lena, Smart Little Pistol, Docs Hickory, Docs Prescription, Smart Little Lena, Smart Peppy Doc, Two Eyed Jack, Bob Acre Doc and numerous others. We now have an own daughter of Smart Little Pistol added to the herd that is bred to our stallion for 2009 foal. One of our newest additions is Boon Light Playgirl, a daughter of Boonlight Dancer that is vet checked in foal to Peppy From Heaven for 2009 Foal. We now have a bay 2007 daughter of Sante Fe Cat by High Brow Cat, red roan granddaughter of Haidas Little Pep and High Brow Hickory, and a daughter of Little Trona over a daughter of CD Olena. We are very happy to be able to afford these mares. If you don't find what you are looking for, check with us and we will see if we can help you find the right horse. We have gotten our new house, but working on getting an arena built and our barn going. Our place is under construction, but everything takes time and money. Maybe we will have both sometime soon.
